Travelling to Kenya? Learn who needs a Kenya eTA, how to apply, application fees and key travel requirements before your safari adventure.
East Africa's premier DMC. Property-neutral, trade-first, and committed to crafting extraordinary journeys since 2005.

Effective 6 October 2026, Kenya introduced Mandatory Inbound Travel Health Insurance for eligible international visitors. Please find the guidance below to help guests complete the required application process before travel.
Apply for an ETA and purchase Mandatory Inbound Travel Health Insurance through the official ETA portal.
Please check whether the insurance requirement applies before travelling. Where required, cover can be purchased separately through the Inbound Travel Health Insurance portal.
The current cost is approximately USD 52 per traveller, including the premium and processing fees, separate from the ETA fee. Guests should retain their insurance confirmation, reference number and a screenshot showing their status as “Valid” for presentation if requested on arrival.
Guidance on exemptions and implementation continues to develop, and we will share further updates as they become available. Please contact our team for assistance with an upcoming booking.
